History of Dornröschen

Overview

Dornröschen is the intrinsic on the Exotic Sleeper Simulant, a Solar Linear Fusion Rifle. Its laser overpenetrates enemies and refracts off hard surfaces, so one shot can hit several targets in a line. Precision hits are described as dealing three to four times the weapon's baseline damage.

Notes

The beam fragments into five smaller beams when it strikes a surface, and those smaller beams can bounce back toward the shooter. Reports differ on the number of bounces and splits, so treat exact counts as approximate.

Acquisition

The original acquisition quest, which ran through Ana Bray and the Ikelos weapons, was removed with Beyond Light. The weapon is now obtained from the Monument to Lost Lights. Its catalyst is tracked as the Sleeper Simulant Catalyst triumph.
