History of Dynamic Sway Reduction

Dynamic Sway Reduction is a weapon perk that rewards sustained fire: while the trigger is held it improves accuracy, and since patch 2.9.0 it also adds Stability over time.

Effect

The Destiny 2 Wiki says the perk grants up to +10 Stability with a 0.6-second ramp-up and that the accuracy gain is "enough to almost negate the effects of bloom". It is found on Auto Rifles and Submachine Guns such as Metronome-52.

Sources disagree

A secondary summary of light.gg data gives the Basic version as +1 Stability and 10% less accuracy cone growth per shot, maxing after 10 shots, with an Enhanced version at 1.25 / 12.5% maxing after 8 shots. The wiki's page notes no separate Enhanced variant. Numbers may also have changed in later patches.
