History of Eager Edge

Overview

Eager Edge is a basic trait for Swords, introduced in Season 15: it increases lunge distance immediately after switching to the weapon. Community testing puts the boost at about 80% grounded and 64% airborne for 3 seconds. Swords such as Synanceia can roll it.

Changes

• A 2022 hotfix (6.2.0.7) fixed an issue where Eager Edge could be used multiple times in a single activation.
• Community testers found the trait now also deactivates when the Guardian moves too fast, which acts like a hard velocity cap. Speed techniques such as wellskating and falling can trigger it.
