History of Eating Your Own Tail

Overview

Eating Your Own Tail is a Triumph worth 25 score. It is earned by completing the Ascendant time trial at Ouroborea, a private location in the Dreaming City where one of the Ascendant Challenge weekly time trials takes place.

How to complete

1. Reach Ouroborea. Ouroborea is entered through a portal in the ceiling of Aphelion's Rest, just before the final encounter. The portal is open while the Ascendance buff is active, which you get by consuming a Tincture of Queensfoil.
2. Destroy the four Blights hidden in the outskirts. This removes the shields from the crystals but also spawns hordes of Taken thrall.
3. Destroy all the crystals without falling to the thrall or the roving Abyssal Champions. The challenge is complete when the last crystal falls.
4. Speed matters. The challenge is a time trial, and the triumph requires finishing within the time limit. The limit is not published, so run it as fast as you can and do not stop to clear every enemy.

Ascendant Challenges rotate weekly, so Ouroborea is only available in the week it is in the rotation.
