History of Echo of Navigation

Overview

The Echo of Navigation is one of the paracausal Echoes released after the Witness was destroyed. It embodies the Witness’s memories of Oryx, the Taken King after Oryx slew Akka and fashioned the Dreadnaught. Eris captured it. Later story material depicts the Echo acting independently and speaking to the Guardian.
