History of Eddy Current

Overview

Eddy Current is an Arc-exclusive weapon trait introduced in Season 21 (Season of the Deep). It temporarily increases reload speed after sprinting. The effect is stronger while amplified.

Activation

Reported sprint requirements range from 1.5 seconds with the weapon readied (later community testing) to three seconds of sprinting (June 2023). Sprinting refreshes the buff.

Amplified

Being Amplified makes the effect stronger. Amplification is easy to reach in PvE, which makes the trait most useful there.
