History of Enlightened

Enlightened is the temporary buff gained in the relay encounters of the Garden of Salvation raid. It lasts about 44 seconds and lets Guardians break the white immunity shields on certain Vex enemies, including Goblins, Minotaurs and Barrier Champions. Barrier Hobgoblin shields need Anti-Barrier rounds instead.

Tethering a Vex box to a relay grants the buff and refreshes it if Vex have uploaded to that relay. In the Summon Consecrated Mind encounter, one player from Relay 1 and a roaming player move between relays, clearing enemies and re-tethering to keep the buff up. In the Defeat Sanctified Mind encounter, depositing Motes into a relay also grants it, and teams stagger deposits so Enlightened overlaps with the white-shield fighting.
