History of Entropic Shards

Overview

Entropic Shards are small Darkness obelisks added with Destiny 2: Beyond Light. Destroying them unlocks the full power of Stasis. Only Salvation's Grip, earned from the quest The Stasis Prototype, can destroy them.

Nine shards are scattered across Europa: in the Concealed Void, Asterion Abyss, Cadmus Ridge, Creation, the Eventide Ruins (one of them inside Bunker E15), the Riis-Reborn Approach, Kell's Rising and Technocrat's Iron.

Stasis aspects

Shard destruction advances the Stasis aspect quests. Aspect of Control requires destroying 5 shards, and Aspect of Destruction requires destroying all 9. Aspect of Influence and Aspect of Interference also involve the shards.
