History of Episode Heresy

Episode: Heresy is the third Episode of Destiny 2 and the last one before the game moved to a seasonal model. It ran from February 4 to July 15, 2025, following Episode: Revenant. Act I launched February 4, Act II on March 11 and Act III on April 1.

Destabilizing Rounds

The update that opened the episode reworked Destabilizing Rounds. The perk now grants Volatile Rounds for 2 seconds when the volatile burst from the initial final blow hits any target, and its internal cooldown dropped from 4 seconds to 1.5 seconds. Bungie confirmed the changes in a This Week in Destiny post. The perk has likely changed again since, so check current patch notes for its present behavior.
