History of Exemplar

Overview

Exemplar is a Triumph tied to the Guardian Rank system in Destiny 2. It belongs to the Exemplar rank, which is Guardian Rank 10. The triumph's flavour text describes the Vanguard's most trusted agents. It has no score value.

How to complete

Exemplar is an advanced Guardian Rank, so its objectives refresh each season. The wiki's Season of Defiance list for the rank includes:

• Reach 80 Seasonal Ranks and complete 30 Seasonal Challenges.
• Complete the featured Grandmaster Nightfall, then complete a Grandmaster Nightfall with a score of 210,000 or more.
• Solo 5 Master Lost Sectors, and complete a Master Lost Sector solo without dying.
• Unlock all Darkness subclasses (Stasis and Strand), collect 5 Stasis Fragments and 5 Strand Fragments on one character, and complete a Grandmaster Nightfall with a Darkness subclass equipped.
• Masterwork 25 Exotic weapons using catalysts, collect 30 Exotic armour pieces, and claim 5 titles.
• Reach a commendation score of 1,530 and receive 100 ally or leadership commendations.

Tips

• Master Lost Sectors are the best source of both progress and high-stat Exotic loot for this rank.
• Strand Fragments are sold by the Strand vendor in Neomuna after Lightfall. Stasis Fragments come from the Exo Stranger after Beyond Light.
• Leadership commendations from difficult activities give the most commendation progress.
