Overview
Exile's Curse (Adept) is the Adept version of Exile's Curse, a Legendary Arc Fusion Rifle with a High-Impact Frame. It originated in Destiny (House of Wolves) and returned to Destiny 2 in Season of the Worthy. Notable perks on the base weapon include Quickdraw, Killing Wind and Slideshot in the first slot and Vorpal Weapon, High-Impact Reserves, Celerity and Kickstart in the second (Destinypedia, a stub page). Flavor text: "It's a blessing in disguise." (Note: Bungie lists this item as Arc; the base page's element field says Solar, which may reflect a different version.)
Acquisition
The Adept version of Exile's Curse is a harder-to-get variant from the Trials of Osiris loot pool. Per Destinypedia it is earned by a Flawless run (seven consecutive wins) to the Lighthouse and opening the Flawless chest there; later seasons also let players focus Trials engrams with Saint-14 to get rolls of Adept weapons already earned. Destinypedia's Adept weapons page lists this Adept as a Trials reward in an earlier season. Adept weapons take a special set of Adept mods and masterworking gives bonus stats beyond the masterwork's focus; see Adept weapons. Weapons dropped after Season of the Splicer also carry the Celerity perk per that page. Rotation and exact availability change by season, so check the current Trials pool. Craftable: none of the sources say it is.
