History of Exo Stranger

Overview

The Exo Stranger is Elisabeth Bray ("Elsie"), a human engineer and scientist from House Bray, granddaughter of Clovis Bray. She became one of the first Exos after her grandfather's experiments on Europa and later turned against him. She is known across the Sol System as a mythological figure who appears across many timelines.

After a dark future in which her sister Ana is corrupted and the Last City falls, Elsie is trapped in a time loop. Each death resets her to the celebration after Cayde-6 kills Taniks. She wants to prevent Ana's corruption and Eris Morn's fall into Darkness so she does not have to kill her sister again. She wields Stasis, and she recruited Eris Morn and the Drifter after the arrival of the Black Fleet, teaching them Stasis while withholding key truths, including Eris's dark fate. She appears in Born in Darkness Part 2.
