History of Fabled (triumph)

Overview
Fabled is a triumph in Destiny 2 that requires the player to reach the Fabled division of the Glory ranks in Competitive Crucible. The triumph tracks the ranks earned toward it, and reaching Fabled also unlocks the Recluse quest.
How to complete
The climb to Fabled is measured in Glory, which is earned from wins in Competitive Crucible and Iron Banner.
- Play Competitive Crucible and Iron Banner matches. A 2019 guide recommends Iron Banner as the faster route, and the same guide says playing with friends helps.
- Build win streaks where you can. Streak wins add larger Glory gains, while losses carry a penalty.
- Log at least 3 games in a week to earn the weekly Glory bonus, which the 2019 guide puts at 160 Glory for the Guardian and Brave ranks, or 120 for Heroic.
- Reach 2100 Glory to hit Fabled. At a 50% win rate the 2019 guide estimates 471 matches to get there, so a 2019 estimate is a rough guide only.
- Once you reach Fabled, complete the Recluse quest from Shaxx. The quest requires only Fabled rank and Crucible wins, with no submachine gun kills or medals.
Trivia
The Glory thresholds and weekly bonus values come from a 2019 article, and both have changed in later seasons, so check the current values in the Glory tooltip before planning a climb.
