History of Faded Scrolls

Overview

Faded Scrolls are collectibles unlocked through Mysterium in Destiny 2. They are read at the Shaping Slab in Eris Morn's Apartment in the Last City. Each scroll gives a lasting bonus.

Types

• Scrolls of the Nether are tied to specific boons from The Nether. Each boon has its own count, and collecting several of that boon unlocks its scroll.
• Scrolls of Strength boost rituals and Sigil Stone drops, such as Ritual Potency and Dispelled Corruption.
• Legendary Scrolls require tasks such as unlocking Pinnacle Secrets or uncovering collectibles.
• Scrolls of Blades are used with the Court of Blades and need metastasized essentia from the Nether.

Boon stacks

A Nether scroll raises how many stacks of its boon a player can carry. In a 2025 guide, the bonus is listed as two stacks of that boon each time it is collected in later runs. Boon stack values differ between guides, so check the in-game Mysterium menu for current numbers.
