History of Fan of Knives

Overview

Fan of Knives is a Triumph in Destiny 2. It asks you to rapidly defeat multiple enemies with a single Blade Barrage Super. Progress is tracked as medals earned.

How to complete

1. Equip a Hunter with the Gunslinger subclass and pick the Way of a Thousand Cuts tree, which gives Blade Barrage. The Solar version is the one listed on the wiki.
2. Wait until enemies are bunched together. The Super launches your Hunter into the air and throws a volley of explosive Solar knives.
3. Aim the leap so the knives land among a group. Each knife explodes after it embeds in the first target or surface it touches, so the group should be within reach of the blast.
4. Use the Super again whenever a new group forms. The triumph counts the medals earned from those multi-kills.

Tips: Knife impact damage rose from 35 to 48 in Destiny 2 V2.8.0, and the detonation radius shrank from 5 metres to 3 metres in the same update. Groups need to be tighter than before for one volley to hit them all.
