History of Fast Travel

Fast Travel is a map-based feature that lets a Guardian instantly travel to Landing Zones within an explorable region, without the usual trip into orbit.

How it works

Open the map, highlight a Landing Zone and confirm. Only Landing Zones can be targeted, so missions, Public Events and other map icons cannot be jumped to. Pre-launch coverage said it was unclear whether Landing Zones would have to be unlocked one by one.
