Overview
Ferropotent Cuirass is a Legendary piece from the Ferropotent Armor set for Hunters. It is a Chest Armor piece.
The set is part of the Season 28 Portal gear, according to the Destiny Game Wiki. Its two set bonuses are:
- 2 pieces, Rapid Repair: when your shields begin to regenerate, you gain flinch resistance and damage resistance for a short time.
- 4 pieces, Built from Scratch: while your reserves are low, combatant final blows add ammo progress based on the enemy's ammo type. Primary kills boost Special ammo, and Special kills boost Heavy ammo.
The flavor text reads: "I introduced Lodi to Suraya and her falcon recently. I'm not sure who was more offended at sharing a name: the man or the bird." —Ikora Rey
Acquisition
Ferropotent Cuirass drops with random perks from the following activities:
- Creation (Solo Ops)
- Skywatch (Solo Ops)
- The Arms Dealer (mission)
- The Glassway (mission)
The item data marks the piece as unable to be reacquired from Collections.
A June 2026 GameRant guide describes a different route: buying the set from Commander Zavala in the Tower Courtyard, under the Armor Focused Decoding tab. Each piece costs one Vanguard Engram and 15,000 Glimmer, and higher Power unlocks higher tiers. Reported routes differ, so check the current vendor and activity rewards before farming.
