History of Fierce Competitor

Overview

Fierce Competitor is a Crucible triumph in Destiny 2. It requires you to defeat opponents in any Crucible playlist. Each defeat counts, and the triumph does not require a win.

How to complete

1. Unlock Crucible. Quickplay unlocks after the Spark mission and talking to Lord Shaxx. Competitive unlocks after two Quickplay matches of any outcome.
2. Queue into any Crucible playlist. Quickplay is the quickest way to rack up defeats. Competitive is the same match type with ranked rules. The Trials of the Nine follow Competitive rules.
3. Get defeats in each match. Only defeats of opponents count, so play the match rather than leaving early.
4. Keep playing until the defeat count is done. Defeating opponents in any Crucible playlist is enough, so you do not have to focus on one mode.

Seal and rewards

Fierce Competitor has no reward in game data. Completing a Crucible match also grants an item drop of rare, legendary or exotic quality, as the Crucible rewards note describes.
