History of Fight Card: Gambit

Overview

Fight Card: Gambit is a Guardian Games event triumph in Destiny 2 worth 5 points. It requires you to complete Gambit Contender Cards while Gambit is the Daily Focus for that day.

How to complete

1. Open the Guardian Games event card while the event is active.
2. Buy the Gambit Contender Cards from Eva Levante at the Tower. The Gambit cards listed on the wiki are Big-Play Contender, Searing Contender and Thunderous Contender, each with 200 progress.
3. Play on a day when Gambit is the Daily Focus.
4. Complete the card's Gambit objectives. Bank your motes regularly at the bank's four synthesizers.
5. Use the main Gambit mechanics. Depositing 5, 10 or 15 motes sends a blocker to the other team's bank. At 40 and 80 banked motes your team's invasion portal opens. At 100 banked motes you summon the Primeval, which is the match-winning boss.
6. Keep carried motes low. A player carries up to 15 motes, and dying drops half of them, rounded up.
7. Deposit the Medallions you earn at the Guardian Games podium in the Tower.

Seal and rewards

Completing the Gambit Contender Cards earns Gold Medallions. The triumph itself is worth 5 points.

Trivia

Gambit is a separate player-versus-player-and-environment mode from Crucible, and completing it reduces a Vanguard streak. The card names and progress values come from earlier Guardian Games events and may have changed.
