History of Final Assault

Overview

Final Assault is a Triumph in Destiny 2 tied to the Vex Offensive activity. It asks you to defeat the Undying Mind, the Vex robot from Destiny 1 that replaces the usual final Gate Lord in the Final Assault variant of the activity.

How to complete

1. Run the Vex Offensive in its Final Assault form. It follows the normal Vex Offensive route, killing Vex and smashing crystals on the way to the final room.
2. Reach the Undying Mind. Strip its shields first using the Vex cannons that drop during the fight. You cannot damage it until its shields are down.
3. Defeat the Undying Mind. The kill counts toward the triumph.

The original 2019 version of the triumph required three Undying Mind kills. The current description does not state a kill count. Ghost adds extra lore during the activity.
