History of First Steps

Overview

First Steps is the first wing of Riven's Lair, the Dreaming City area added with Season of the Wish. Guardians reach it during the Synchysis mission, which is linked to step 33 of Wishing All the Best.

The mission's stated objective is to crawl through the First Steps wing and retrieve Riven's clutch. Riven's egg is described as "polluted by the Taken's corruption." Synchysis supports 1 to 3 players against the Taken, and its boss, Roln'gur, Blade-Bound to the Terrace, has a shield that must be broken by killing three Wardweavers before the boss can be defeated.
