History of Flashpoint

Overview

Flashpoint was a weekly Destiny 2 challenge in Year 1, originally given by Cayde-6. It rotated across destinations: players completed public events, Lost Sectors and Heroic Adventures there to earn a guaranteed Powerful Engram at or above their Power level.

After Update 2.0.1 and the release of Forsaken, destination vendors took over Flashpoint rewards (per Destinypedia).
