History of Flawless Master Nightmare Hunt

The Flawless Master Nightmare Hunt is a Triumph in Destiny 2 that requires completing any Nightmare Hunt on Master difficulty without dying. It is worth 15 Triumph Score and counts toward the Harbinger title.

Choose any Nightmare Hunt. The specific hunt does not matter, and the triumph has no time limit.
Set the difficulty to Master difficulty before starting.
Finish the hunt without a death. A Harbinger title guide notes that, unlike most flawless challenges, the death of a fireteam member does not void the attempt. Some players report the opposite, so keep the whole fireteam alive to be safe.

Level up as far as you can before attempting it. Guides recommend bringing the Nightmare Hunt mods from Season of Undying and using Protective Light, faction Barrier mods and long-range weapons. Mod advice from that season may be dated.
Against Phogoth, take cover on the right side of the room to avoid its beam attacks. Guides rate it as the easiest of the Nightmare bosses for this run.
