Overview

Flawless Tomb is a Triumph in Destiny 2 awarded for completing a full run of Contest of Elders without dying. The triumph is worth 10 score.

Contest of Elders is the harder version of Tomb of Elders, part of the Revenant seasonal content.

How to complete

  1. Unlock the activity. Finish the first Act of the Revenant seasonal questline, then speak with Mithrax in the Last City to start the quest. Play a match of Tomb of Elders first.
  2. Launch Contest of Elders from the Last City section of the Director, below the seasonal Onslaught playlist. It is set to 2,020 Power and has limited revives.
  3. Clear the combat rooms with your fireteam of three. Each boss has an immunity shield that you must remove first, using a mechanic specific to that boss, and then you damage it during its vulnerable window.
  4. Track your revives. The run starts with 20. Model Prisoners, the blue-text minibosses, grant extra revive tokens when defeated, and running out of revives fails the run.
  5. Plan around modifiers. Each room gets a random modifier, announced at the start of the encounter, such as Counterfeit (enemies drop disguised explosives), Grounded (more damage while airborne) or Brawn (greatly increased HP that does not regenerate). Permanent surge modifiers stay active for the whole run.
  6. Keep the run moving. Complete the timed boss objectives, because failing one gives the squad debuffs until the encounter ends. Keep Warden's Favor high to earn three loot chests and skip the opening encounter of the next loop.

Sources disagree on the number of laps: older guides describe four, so check the in-game count before you start.

Seal and rewards

Completing a run gives tonic reagents, seasonal weapon rolls and the Activity-exclusive weapons Scavenger's Fate and Gridskipper. Contest gives more loot after each boss.
