History of For The Bird

Overview

For The Bird is a Triumph in Destiny 2. It is completed by finishing the weekly Deepsight quest Fated Deepsight, which is offered by Hawthorne in the Tower Bazaar. The quest is tied to the Vault of Glass raid.

How to complete

1. Go to the Tower Bazaar and speak with Hawthorne. The quest, Fated Deepsight, is on the second page of her inventory.
2. Complete every encounter in the Vault of Glass: the Confluxes, the Oracles, the Templar, the Gatekeepers and Atheon. The quest only counts once the raid is finished.
3. Return to Hawthorne and finish the quest. Every required box must be checked for it to complete. Finishing the quest also completes the triumph.

The quest is repeatable each week, but you only need to complete it once to unlock the reward.

Rewards

The triumph gives Legendary Marks and unlocks the Chatterwhite shader. To buy it, interact with the Tenet of Death vendor in the Tower Courtyard. GameRant lists the cost as 25 Legendary Marks. Completing the quest also gives progress toward a weapon pattern.

Tips

• The Vault of Glass is the main barrier. If it is your first run, ask your fireteam for a quick walkthrough of the Oracle puzzle before you start.
• The triumph is listed under Monument of Triumph in the Stories section, under Allies.
