History of Forge

The Forges are the Black Armory's weapon foundries, centered on Ada-1. Four exist: the Volundr Forge (European Dead Zone), the Izanami Forge and Gofannon Forge (Nessus), and the Bergusia Forge (Niobe Labs, EDZ).

Forge Ignition

In Forge Ignition, a three-player matchmade activity run from the EDZ map, fireteams defeat three waves of enemies, with a boss on the last, to charge the forge. One forge is available each day, rotating through the four. Before use you speak to the Spider on the Tangled Shore for the Black Armory Badge, then to Ada-1. Guides from 2019-2020 describe this flow, and later seasons changed the unlock process.

Rewards

Black Armory weapons and armor, including exotics such as Izanagi's Burden and Jötunn. The forges arrived with Season of the Forge and the Black Armory content.
