History of Fr0st-EE5

Fr0st-EE5 are Exotic Hunter leg armor that debuted in Rise of Iron in Destiny and returned in Warmind for Destiny 2.

Overview

• Intrinsic – Rapid Cooldown: increased grenade, melee and dodge regeneration while sprinting; dodging increases sprint speed. Later versions also build Frost Armor stacks while sprinting, and Stasis weapons deal extra damage with Frost Armor (from a search summary, unverified).
• Designed by Marcus Ren ("Frosties"); lore says the capacitors overheat about 2% of the time.

Acquisition

• Exotic engrams and extremely rare world drops; re-roll with Exotic Armor Focusing once collected.

Catalyst

Armor has no catalyst.
