History of From Downtown

Overview

From Downtown is a Triumph in Destiny 2. It requires defeating two or more opponents with a Nova Bomb that stayed in the air for at least 5 seconds. The counter is Medals earned.

How to complete

1. Equip a Warlock with the Voidwalker subclass. Nova Bomb is the Voidwalker Super.
2. Use the Cataclysm modification. The bomb travels slowly and seeks enemies, so it is the mode most likely to stay airborne for 5 seconds.
3. Do not shoot the bomb while it is in flight. Firing at it detonates it early and ends the airtime.
4. Aim for a group of two or more enemies on detonation. The Cataclysm detonation splits into smaller seeker projectiles, which can reach more targets.
5. For bigger groups, take the Vortex modification. The bomb creates a singularity that pulls enemies in and keeps damaging those caught inside.

Tips: Bloom makes enemies explode when Void abilities kill them, so one Nova Bomb kill can set off chain kills. Skull of Dire Ahamkara adds damage resistance while Nova Bomb is active and grants Super energy on Nova Bomb kills.

Killing an enemy with Nova Bomb drops an Orb of Light.
