History of Gambler's Garb

Overview

Gambler's Garb is a Triumph with a value of 15 score. Completing this triumph awards the Gambit ornament for the Ascendancy rocket launcher. The objective requires the player to reach the maximum Gambit rank after having reset their rank once.

How to complete

To complete this triumph, the player must play Gambit to reach maximum rank, reset it, and then reach maximum rank again.

1. Win Gambit matches to build Infamy until you reach the maximum rank, Legend, which is at 10,000 Infamy.
2. Reset your rank. Resetting is needed for the Dredgen title and for access to some ornaments.
3. After the reset, keep playing Gambit until you reach Legend again. This completes the triumph.

Rank 16 gives an Ascendant Shard and an Exotic Engram when completed. Sources disagree on the Rank 16 ornament: the triumph text names the Ascendancy rocket launcher, while another guide lists the Deadly Discernment ornament and does not mention Ascendancy. Check the reward named in the triumph text.

Tips:

• Wins grant far more Infamy than losses, so winning matters more the higher you climb.
• Double Infamy weeks boost every Infamy gain and make the second climb faster.
