Overview

Garden of Salvation is the Destiny 2: Shadowkeep raid, released October 5, 2019, set in the Black Garden and launched from The Moon. It is the first raid set in the Black Garden and the first to feature Champions. Enemies are Vex and Taken-adjacent Garden forces, ending with the Sanctified Mind, Sol Inherent. Fireteams of six. Launch power: Destinypedia says 890 recommended at launch; Shacknews recommends 940 (minimum 920 for the final boss). The numbers are from the 2019 power system and are out of date.

Most encounters revolve around tethers and Voltaic Motes. Bring Anti-Barrier and Overload Rounds mods for Champions.

Encounters

1. Evade the Consecrated Mind (Embrace)

Split into two teams of three. One team stays near the Consecrated Mind while the other fights through waves to open doors; both collect Voltaic Overflow debuffs and leapfrog barriers until the team reunites for a final sprint across an open field against Cyclops and Minotaur enemies.

2. Summon the Consecrated Mind (Undergrowth)

A diamond arena with four relays at the corners. Pairs hold relays while managing the Enlightened buff to break the shields on white-shield Vex and kill Angelic enemies; stop Vex sacrifices at the confluxes and rotate clockwise until the center barriers drop.

3. Defeat the Consecrated Mind

The Harpy-like Consecrated Mind becomes damageable. Deposit 30 motes in relays to trigger damage. One player carrying the Voltaic Overflow calls out whether to shoot the inner or outer eyes to free detained teammates; repeat until it dies.

4. Conquer the Sanctified Mind (final)

Three pairs collect motes in colour-coded zones and defend dual conflux banks. Bank 30 motes per relay to build tether chains to the boss; the symbols stun it and expose its core for damage.

Rewards

Exotic Divinity (Trace Rifle; the quest requires finishing the raid), plus legendary weapons such as Ancient Gospel, Prophet of Doom, Zealot's Reward, Omniscient Eye, Sacred Provenance, Tyranny of Heaven and Accrued Redemption, and Righteousness / Exaltation / Ascendancy / Transcendence armor. No heavy weapons drop. Also raid mods, emblems and shaders.
