History of Get Primeval

Overview

'''Get Primeval''' is a Triumph in Destiny 2 earned through a Gambit Prowess medal. It requires 10 of these medals. Each medal requires the player to contribute significantly to the defeat of a Primeval.

How to complete

In a round with a Primeval, you must deal over half of your team's total damage to the Primeval and be the one who defeats it to win the round. Each round that meets both conditions awards one medal. Repeat across matches until you have 10 medals.

Tips:

• Focus your damage on the Primeval. You need more than half of the team's damage on it, so it is the one target to commit to.
• Let teammates handle the adds and Motes while you work on the Primeval, and rotate who takes the damage role so the whole fireteam gets medals.
• Keep enough damage in reserve to finish the Primeval, since the round is only won if it dies.
• Watch the other Primeval's health. The related medal By the Skin of Your Teeth is earned by killing your Primeval while the opposing Primeval has very little health left.
