History of Get Rich Quick

Overview

Get Rich Quick is a Triumph with a score value of 15 in Destiny 2. It is part of the seasonal Expedition activity from Season of Plunder. The objective is to defeat a Ruffian within 20 seconds of it spawning.

How to complete

1. Start an Expedition and collect treasure. Each of the first two treasure sites has a chance to spawn a Ruffian while your team deposits treasure in the hauler.
2. Stay near the treasure site and keep clearing enemies. A Ruffian should appear about 3 minutes after the site is activated.
3. Kill the Ruffian within 20 seconds of its spawn.

Tips:

• Ruffians are either Overload or Unstoppable Champions, so equip Champion mods for the type you expect.
• Do not fill the treasure hauler too quickly. A fast fill can leave you without a Ruffian, since the spawn happens after the 3-minute timer.
• A teammate who fills the hauler early can cost you the spawn, so agree on a pace with your fireteam.
• Earlier in the season, filling the hauler despawned a Ruffian that was already present. That no longer happens.

Get Rich Quick is not one of the Scallywag title requirements. The Scallywag title includes Robber Baron, which asks for Ruffian kills.
