History of Gift Unwrapping

Overview

Gift Unwrapping is a Triumph in Destiny 2 with a score value of 5. Its objective is to complete the community quest Share the Dawning Spirit, which is part of the Dawning holiday event. The quest was added in Season 12.

How to complete

To earn this triumph, the player must finish the Share the Dawning Spirit quest, given by Eva.

The quest is a shared goal. Each baking step has a community threshold of Dawning Spirit, and the whole player base generates the currency together, so you progress even if you do not contribute yourself. The steps alternate between baking and opening presents:

1. Bake Dead Candy Ghosts and deliver them to Spider in the Tangled Shore. Community threshold: 50,000,000.
2. Speak with Eva and open the present.
3. Bake Dark Chocolate Motes and deliver them to Drifter in the Tower. Community threshold: 125,000,000.
4. Speak with Eva and open the presents.
5. Bake Eliksni Birdseed and deliver it to Hawthorne in the Tower. Community threshold: 250,000,000.
6. Speak with Eva and open the presents.
7. Bake Traveler Donut Holes and deliver them to Ikora Rey in the Tower. Community threshold: 500,000,000.
8. Speak with Eva and open the presents.
9. Bake Lavender Ribbon Cookies and deliver them to Saint-14 in the Hangar. Community threshold: 1,000,000,000.
10. Speak with Eva and open all presents to receive the rewards.

Tips:

• Delivering a gift to any character gives 3 Dawning Spirit, so the trips to NPCs add up.
• Eva's bounties also give Dawning Spirit: two weekly bounties worth 10 each and four daily bounties worth 2 each.
• Each Cookie Delivery triumph gives 5 Dawning Spirit when claimed.

Rewards

Completing step 10 gives one each of the Overflowing, Generous, Adequate, Modest and Meager Dawning Presents.
