History of Gilding

Overview
Gilding is a mechanic for titles and seals. After earning the base title you can complete an extra set of seasonal (or, for event titles, yearly) Triumphs to gild it. A gilded title shows in gold instead of purple text, with a gold border and a counter of how many times you have gilded it.
Details
- Gilding resets each season, or each year for event titles such as Flamekeeper, so you must redo the gilding Triumphs to keep the gold colour and raise the counter.
- Commonly gildable titles listed by sources include Dredgen, Conqueror, Flawless, Deadeye, Unbroken, Glorious and Iron Lord, plus event titles. Events such as Heavy Metal and Festival of the Lost have seals with their own gilding challenges.
- Example: to gild Dredgen a season, TheGamer lists Gambit Triumphs such as Gold Coins (50 matches), Good Company, Infamous, Get Out, Death Heals Primeval and Cadence, Continuing. These are season-specific and change.
Notes
The two sources overlap but list slightly different gildable titles, and requirements change every season, so check the in-game seal each time.
