Overview

Gizmo Weft is a Legendary Strand Grenade Launcher. It uses the Micro-Missile Frame (90 RPM), which fires straight-line projectiles. Trait pools include Envious Arsenal, Slideshot and Air Trigger in the first column and Elemental Honing, Aggregate Charge and Bait and Switch in the second; origin traits are Contending Cascade or Häkke Breach Armaments. Blueberries.gg recommends Quick Launch, High-Velocity Rounds, Envious Arsenal + Elemental Honing for PvE (rated S-tier PvE, D-tier PvP), noting Elemental Honing reaches +35% damage at 5 stacks.

Acquisition

Gizmo Weft is one of the attunable event weapons from Devrim Kay: attuning it raises its drop chance in Ops and Call to Arms activities. Blueberries.gg also lists it as farmable during The Dawning (Dawning engrams, baking cookies for vendors, Snowball Fight in the Crucible); this reflects the 2025-26 Dawning and may change in later years.

Like the other event weapons it is listed under Events as its source. Sources do not agree on every detail (the Destiny Game Wiki lists it as a Season 28 / Destiny 2: Renegades event gear weapon, while it is attunable at Devrim Kay for Call to Arms / Arms Week style event focusing), so check the in-game Collections entry for current availability. Craftable status is not stated by the sources I opened, so it is not claimed here; no Adept variant is documented in them.
