History of Golden Trevallyhoo

Overview

Golden Trevallyhoo is a Triumph in Destiny 2. The objective is to catch a Golden Trevallyhoo. It is a Legendary fish, so it sits among the higher-quality catches from Fishing.

How to complete

1. Head to a fishing spot. Fish are caught in the EDZ Outskirts, the Nessus Cistern or the Throne World Miasma. Only one spot has increased activity each day, so check your Fishing Tackle to see which one has it.
2. Fill the Focused Fishing meter. It fills only from Legendary or Exotic catches, and fishing with other players speeds it up. The buff raises your chances of higher-rarity fish, but it does not single out this fish.
3. Keep fishing until you catch a Golden Trevallyhoo.
4. For bait, the sources are salvage, Deep Dive, playlists, public events, patrols and destination materials, with a cap of 500. The Loadout suggests farming it in heroic public events and patrols in a zone like the EDZ.

Tips:

• Fish at the increased-activity spot first each day.
• Active public events can make fishing spots despawn, so check the spot is still there before you go.
• Fishing is part of Season of the Deep, so the spots and fish may have changed since then.
