History of Good Bone Structure

Overview

Good Bone Structure is a Legendary Shotgun from SUROS, dealing Arc damage in the energy slot. It uses the Pinpoint Slug Frame (single slug) archetype and is a Banshee-44 (Gunsmith) reward weapon.

A precision slug shotgun (about 65 RPM, 6 shells, 70 impact) with predictably vertical recoil. Curated roll includes Outlaw; random rolls offer Full Choke or Rifled Barrel, Threat Detector, Field Prep, Quickdraw, Rampage, Snapshot Sights and Slideshot. Players discuss it as a PvP slug-shotgun option alongside Chaperone (see the "Good Bone Structure Destiny 2 Review (D2 Chaperone)" YouTube video). Flavor text: "This one is a real looker."

Acquisition

Earned as a reward from Gunsmith rank-up packages given by Banshee-44 in the Tower. It can also drop from Faction rank-up engrams. Sources differ on whether it dates from the Season 1 launch or Forsaken (re-implemented in Year 2). It is not craftable and has no Adept version. Rank comes from Banshee-44's daily bounties and from dismantling Legendary and Exotic gear.
