History of Good as New

Overview

Good as New is a Triumph in Destiny 2 worth 20 score. It requires completing the Rift Generator public event in the Dreaming City with the Generator Core at 100% integrity.

How to complete

1. Start the Rift Generator public event in the Dreaming City.
2. Get through the wave-defence section. Large Blights spawn along the channels where enemies come from. Destroy every large Blight, and do not miss any, because the event only turns Heroic once they are all down.
3. In the Heroic phase the fight moves to the Ascendant Plane. Defeat several Taken Wizards to unlock a large Taken boss, then kill that boss.
4. Finish the event with the Generator Core still at 100% integrity.

Tips:

• Track the Blights as they spawn. A missed one delays the Heroic phase.
• Keep the Generator Core covered during the Blight phase, since the goal is to finish with it at full integrity.
• Heroic public events tend to get easier as your power level rises.
