'''Grasp of Avarice Complete''' is a Triumph in Destiny 2. It is earned by completing the Grasp of Avarice Dungeon on any difficulty. It awards 40 triumph score.

Grasp of Avarice is a three-player dungeon in the Cosmodrome at Skywatch, themed on the original game's loot cave. It was added with the Bungie 30th Anniversary Pack. Matchmaking is disabled. Access also requires the And Out Fly the Wolves quest.

How to complete

1. Enter Grasp of Avarice with up to two other players. Solo and flawless variants are separate triumphs.
2. Phry'zhia the Insatiable: kill the Scorch Vandal near the front and have one player carry its cannon. Open a side room by shooting the generator above its door and holding to the third charge stage. Collect the cursed engrams inside, then deposit them in the centre crystal until every carrier reaches zero stacks.
3. Once enough riches are deposited, Phry'zhia becomes vulnerable. Group at the agreed position, and move to the far side of the crystal if the Ogre closes in.
4. Fallen Shield: use riches to expose a Servitor, kill it, roll its shell into a man cannon and fire it at one of the four shield nodes. Confirm the launcher points at the destination before firing.
5. Sparrow section: mount sparrows before the start line and follow the four timed mines, A to D, in order. Entering a mine's circle defuses it. Dismount and resummon a sparrow if one breaks.
6. Captain Avarokk the Covetous: charge the generator to release three dispensers of ten engrams each. Collect the zones and deposit them in the centre crystal, repeating for sixty total stacks. Damage Avarokk when immunity drops, and clear the lieutenants between cycles.
7. Traps are in the Rusted Gangplank area. Treat every floor plate and unlabelled doorway as dangerous until one player tests it from safe ground.

Rewards

• The Gjallarhorn is earned through the And Out Fly the Wolves quest, which requires completing the dungeon.
• The Gjallarhorn Catalyst is earned by opening three special chests in the dungeon with the riches debuff.
• The D2 Wiki lists the Absolutely Cursed emblem for completing the dungeon on any difficulty.
• Each encounter has its own loot pool. New items drop once per week per class.

Tips

• Deposit riches early. Carried stacks have no score value.
• Learn the roughly 30-second timer on carrying riches. Running out while holding them is a common death.
