History of Grimoire: Enemies—Reaver Vandal

Overview

Grimoire: Enemies—Reaver Vandal is a Triumph in Destiny 2 tied to a Grimoire card about the Reaver Vandal, an Eliksni enemy. The card belongs to the To Old Friends book and was added in Season of the Wish (April 2024).

The card

The card's lore says that Guardians who fought a Reaver Vandal claimed to have killed him, only to find him alive the next day. They gave him a nickname out of respect for his apparent immunity to death. The card opens with a quote from Master Rahool: "Death is the great mystery to us all." It ties into a wider discussion of Eliksni mortality and the Reaver of Old Russia, which appears in dozens of Vanguard records.

How to complete

Grimoire cards are kept in the Hall of Champions. Find the Reaver Vandal card there and interact with it to collect it, which completes this triumph.
