History of Group Project

Overview

Group Project is a triumph in Destiny 2. The objective is to defeat 225 combatants with Hand Cannons. Completing Fireteam Ops also grants bonus progress toward it.

How to complete

1. Equip a Hand Cannon as your primary weapon. Hand Cannons trade rate of fire for higher damage per hit and have high aim assist, so they suit longer-range fights. The Last Word is the main exception, with a much higher fire rate than most.
2. Run Fireteam Ops. These are three-player activities found through the Director Ops navigation after Monument of Triumph. Expert, Master and Grandmaster are matchmade and require 300 Power; Normal, Advanced and Ultimate are premade-only.
3. Pick the Fireteam Ops mission directly rather than through Quickplay, and set it to Grade B or higher. Missions with Bonus Focus show a gear icon on the activity card. Bonus Focus changes daily, and the first completion each day gives a guaranteed drop.
4. Keep the hand cannon equipped for the kills. Exotic hand cannons include Sturm, Ace of Spades, Hawkmoon and Eriana's Vow.
