History of Guiding Star

Overview

Guiding Star is a legendary Kinetic Auto Rifle, a Rapid-Fire Frame at 720 rounds per minute with a 52-round magazine. The curated roll offers IS 2 Classic or Model 8 Red sights, Appended Mag or High-Caliber Rounds, and Moving Target. It is a Dead Orbit faction weapon, and the default shader looks like a worn version of the faction's Fate shader. The quote is from Arach Jalaal about making a new home among the stars.

Acquisition

Earn it from Dead Orbit Engrams by ranking up with the faction through Arach Jalaal in the Tower. It dates to Season 1 of Destiny 2. The wiki does not mention craftability, and I could not confirm whether it is still in the current loot pool.
