History of Gunsmith Engram

Overview

A Gunsmith Engram is a Legendary Engram handled by Banshee-44, the Gunsmith. It decrypts into a random Legendary foundry weapon from SUROS, Häkke, VEIST or Omolon; some are craftable, such as Syncopation-53.

Acquisition

• One engram per Gunsmith rank gained, earned through Banshee's daily bounties (65 rank each) or dismantling Legendary and Exotic gear (7 each, per TheGamer).
• Drops from patrol chests (about 20%), Lost Sectors (about 20%) and Master Lost Sectors (about 60%).

Focusing

Engrams can be focused at Banshee's menu for specific weapons (TheGamer: 3 engrams and 5,000 Glimmer); only two foundries are focusable each day, rotating daily. Unfocused decryption can yield any foundry weapon. Drop rates are as reported at the time and may have changed.
