History of Hard Launch

Overview

Hard Launch is a Launcher Barrel perk, a speed barrel. It greatly increases projectile speed at the cost of Stability and slightly reduces blast radius. It suits Grenade Launchers and Rocket Launchers that need shells to land quickly, such as Hoosegow.

Numbers

• Projectile speed: greatly increased (listed as +15)
• Stability: decreased (listed as -10)
• Blast radius: slightly decreased (listed as -5)

Tips

• The barrel is a good fit when you're firing at moving targets or long range, where the faster shell matters more than the lost stability.
• For comparison, Linear Compensator makes only small changes to all three stats, and Confined Launch trades projectile speed for much better stability and blast radius.
