History of Hardware Mix

Overview

Hardware Mix is a Crucible Quickplay rotation where the Hardware modifier is applied to rotating modes (6v6; destination The Crucible). Hardware is a Crucible modifier that locks out abilities and floods the map with Special and Heavy ammo, emphasising raw gunplay. Community discussion describes infinite Heavy ammo in the mode.

How to launch

Queue Quickplay from the Crucible node in the Director while it is in rotation. A small-team version exists: Hardware Mix 3v3. See also Hardware Supremacy.

Rewards

Matches drop Crucible rewards including the Triumphal Anthem armor set (2-piece and 4-piece perks aimed at sliding and ammo pickup).
