History of Headseeker

Overview

Headseeker turns body shots into a short precision-damage buff. Body shots landed with the weapon increase precision damage and aim assist for a short time, and each new body shot while the buff is active refreshes its timer.

Its best-known use is on Pulse Rifles and Sidearms, where the body-shot bonus helps when burst rounds land on the torso. Community reports say it is most useful on high-impact pulse rifles, and some players say it does not proc reliably in PvP, though those reports are anecdotal and may be out of date.
