History of Heirloom Catalyst

Overview

Heirloom Catalyst is a Triumph in Destiny 2 for the exotic Heirloom, an Exotic bow. It requires the player to defeat combatants using Heirloom, for 500 targets defeated in total. Multiple final blows on a single target give bonus progress toward the 500.

How to complete

Heirloom comes from the Equilibrium dungeon, and its catalyst needs the The Way Between quest first.

1. Complete The Way Between, the quest exclusive to Equilibrium, which involves collecting relics inside the dungeon.
2. Focus the catalyst at the Praxic Temple.
3. Complete your next Equilibrium encounter. The catalyst drops from it, as long as you focused it first.
4. With the catalyst in hand, equip Heirloom and defeat 500 targets with it.

Tips

• Aim for multiple final blows on the same target, since each extra final blow adds bonus progress toward the 500.
• Heirloom drops from the final encounter of Equilibrium, one chance per character per week. Each Praxic Title triumph adds to the drop chance.
• Some guides tie The Way Between's reward to the Praxic Blade catalyst instead, so confirm the reward before farming for the Heirloom catalyst.
