History of High-Impact Frame

High-Impact Frame is an intrinsic weapon archetype for slow-firing, high-damage weapons. It trades rate of fire for damage per shot, and the in-game text says these weapons are more accurate when stationary, moving slowly and aiming down sights.
Weapon types
The frame appears on Machine Guns, Auto Rifles, Pulse Rifles, Scout Rifles, Fusion Rifles and some Rocket Launchers. About 32 weapons have the frame. Qua Xaphan V is a machine gun example, and Roar of the Bear is a rocket launcher example that community guides regard as one of the strongest High-Impact Frame weapons.
Tips
- Pair it with perks that suit a deliberate, planted playstyle. The accuracy bonus depends on not moving quickly.
- On Roar of the Bear, a PvP roll that uses High-Velocity Rounds and Quick Launch adds a large velocity gain, and Impulse Amplifier pushes velocity further.
