History of High-Velocity Rounds

Overview

A magazine perk that makes projectiles lighter and quicker, raising projectile speed and reload speed. The wiki lists it on grenade launchers and rocket launchers. Its stat values are Velocity +10 and Reload Speed +10 (no units).

Weapons

Grenade launchers: Wicked Sister, Hadrian-A, Bushwhacker, The Colony, I Am Alive.

Rocket launchers: Pentatonic-48, Butler RS/2, Cup-Bearer SA/2, Curtain Call, Morrigan-D, Blue Shift, Countess SA/2, Zenobia-D.

The manifest also rolls it on Roar of the Bear and other weapons.

Tips

• On Roar of the Bear, a PvP roll with Quick Launch and a Velocity Masterwork gives an immediate velocity gain of +30 according to a July 2026 guide. Impulse Amplifier raises velocity further in play.
• Pairs with High-Explosive Ordnance in the same slot family when you want to choose between blast size and projectile speed.
