History of Hive Fortress

The '''Hive Fortress''' is the gatehouse of the Hive stronghold inside the Hellmouth on the Moon, entered at the start of The Summoning Pits.

Overview

Guardians land outside the Hellmouth and enter the Gatehouse, where they fight Hive and Fallen forces. The Ghost cracks a set of Hive rune locks while Thralls, Knights, Acolytes and Wizards attack in waves, and the gate then opens.

Route

Past the gate the team descends into the Circle of Bones to find the Summoning Pits and the boss, Phogoth, the Untamed.
